I Can’t Think of a Reason to Continue My Course, But I Have a Thousand to Stop

And once again, I made history. Due to my inexplainable stupidity, the return demonstration of the physical assessment was re-planned to focus on the upper torso first. The remaining parts shall be demonstrated next week. And I suppose I am the one (not again) to be blamed.

I am not complaining. Mahaba nga naman talaga siya. Maraming dapat i-assess at yung mga normal characteristics of all body regions. Tinamad lang talaga ako siguro. O poor time management.

I was only able to master the cognitive part and the general survey, had a little knowledge on assessing the head and face and for the rest of the body areas, I had no idea.

And I had proven that I can be the worst source of disappointment to my parents and my CI. How embarassing. I just know I messed the whole thing up.

So practically, it took me about twenty minutes to demonstrate. (Bilis no?) That was because I stopped after finishing assessing my partner’s head and face. My CI encouraged me to continue despite my lack of review. But I declined. I didn’t want to waste her time waiting for me to blab out things I cannot even say.

I guess she got mad and called for a meeting among the other CIs and discussed the matter up. I was hoping they were going to let us demonstrate until the face only (para naman matapos lahat that day, sayang naman yung pamasahe) but no. I have to continue until the thorax.

Foolishly, I demonstrated the different tests to be done for the eye (in a very illogical manner, imagine, I tested the visual acuity at the last part! how bloody stupid!).

Now I understand the importance of reviewing. Actually I met the same fate during the compre exam. Tsk. I’m really a campus idiot after all.
